Every aspect of the “Food for Thought” remix came together as an organic collaboration. The song first appeared on KTheChosen’s 2021 album “+Vice”. This led to fellow Calgary artist, Gukie, reaching out as he enjoyed the message and style of the song. As soon as the duo had completed recording the remix, Spatial-Esk, a previous collaborator on the “263to403” music video reached out to K about an idea for a music video. Spatial-Esk is a production company based out of Toronto that creates innovative digital designs. Inspired by the song, they wanted to try making a 360 virtual reality music video with interactive elements which was released alongside the audio.
